This simple quilt premiered as the Northern Ohio Quilt
Shop Hop pattern in 2005. Since then, local quilters have requested that I publish it as a pattern. The
original quilt was made with 4 prints and a background, so I expanded the instructions to include a scrappy
version and a larger size quilt. The pattern is based on the traditional block, Sister’s Choice, but the
construction is not traditional and allows for easier, more accurate piecing by eliminating some seams. There is lots
of background in this design so if you like a lot of quilting, choose a simple background fabric. I recommend using
The Angler II (available on the NOTIONS page) with this pattern to make sewing all the "snowball" corners easier! Sizes include large lap/twin & double/queen.
